Share Our Strength’s Taste of the Nation Raises more than $100,000 to Help End Childhood Hunger 

On June 3, more than 400 guests turned out for Share Our Strength’s Taste of the Nation event at Montage Laguna Beach, where they enjoyed an afternoon of signature dishes, wine, cocktails, live music and panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. Participating chefs included Craig Strong of Studio, Montage Laguna Beach; William Bradley, Addison at The Grand Del Mar; Floyd Cardoz, North End Grill, New York City; Jen Carroll, Concrete Blonde, Philadelphia; Suzanne Goin, A.O.C., Lucques and Tavern, Los Angeles; Lee Smith, Montage Laguna Beach; Michael Voltaggio, ink., Los Angeles; and Alan Wong, Alan Wong’s Restaurants, Honolulu. The $100,000-plus raised during the event supports No Kid Hungry, Share Our Strength’s campaign to end childhood hunger in America. Local beneficiaries include Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County, Community Action Partnership of Orange County and Father Serra’s Food Pantry. —Micaela Myers
