SchoolPower Laguna Beach Education Foundation held its 27th annual dinner dance on March 3, raising $330,000 for Laguna’s four public schools. Held at Montage Laguna Beach, the Fantasy Floral Gala welcomed 300 guests adorned in bright hues, adding to the pink and orange floral wonderland.

Organization fundraising records were broken at the inspiring gala, as guests were able to participate in SchoolPower’s first-ever car raffle and the Fund-a-Need program, which raised $100,000 to give Laguna Beach High School students a world-class science education. An unexpected additional donation of $100,000 by local parents Stephen and Chantal Cloobek helped make this year’s gala the most successful yet.

The festive atmosphere was inspired by the vision of event chairs Patience Shutts and Kim Ressler, with the help of committee members and supporters, including Brent Martini, Holly and David Wilson, McKenna Volkswagen and Hearts of Montage.
