Segerstrom Center 25th anniversary Exhibit opens at south coast plaza
More than 200 fans of Segerstrom Center for the Arts turned out on Oct. 6 for the opening of a multi-faceted exhibit in South Coast Plaza’s Jewel Court to honor the center’s 25th anniversary. The installation included historic photos, a retrospective of many of the shows that have appeared at the center through the years, and more. Founding Chairman Henry Segerstrom and his wife Elizabeth were on hand, along with Center Chairman Larry Higby and Center President Terry Dwyer. The reception also served to formally announce that Tony Award-winning actress Kirstin Chenoweth and the legendary Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons would perform at the annual Candlelight Concert on Dec. 2—a fundraiser that generates more than $1 million to support the center’s education and artistic programs.
If you haven’t attended a performance at the center, you can take part in “Access for All,” which offers tickets for just $10.
