Montage Laguna Beach commences the holiday season with annual tree lighting and open house
A pink- and purple-sky sunset and luminous, (almost) full moon made for a magical onset of the evening at this year’s Holiday Tree Lighting and Community Open House, hosted by Montage Laguna Beach. Thousands gathered around the resort’s oceanfront lawn on Nov. 26 to commence the holiday season with Champagne and cocktails, warming fare, and kids “wintertime” fun, as well as the annual Christmas tree lighting. Wrapped in strands of bright white lights that illuminated the “snow” that fell beside it, the grand tree with the moon overhead was truly picturesque. —A.B.
