Mauli Ola Foundation Benefits from Pacific Edge Soiree and Other Local Events
Laguna’s surfers and socialites came together on July 28 at Mauli Ola’s Sun, Snacks, Sips & Surfers event to mingle with fellow community members, attain autographs from some of the surfing elite, and above all, to raise money for a good cause. Held at Pacific Edge Hotel and The Deck, the event benefited the Mauli Ola Foundation, whose mission is to foster education and awareness about cystic fibrosis and to help those suffering from the genetic disease through surfing. The afternoon of fun in the sun on the beachfront deck was the third component to a trio of charitable events: Earlier that week, the organization hosted a party at the White House featuring music by Chevy Metal as well as a golf tournament at The Resort at Pelican Hill. —A.B.
