The Tivoli Too grounds were packed with approximately 550 guests on Sept. 23 for the Taste of Laguna, presented by the Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce. Nearly 30 food and drink vendors shared libations and samples of favorite dishes during the annual epicurean event. While local restaurants provided the bites, attendees had the opportunity to travel the globe with their taste buds thanks to the wide variety of international flavors, from barbecue sliders and pizza to Thai curry and sushi. And there was no shortage of sugary treats: Desserts included Driftwood Kitchen’s strawberry tres leches, Lumberyard’s salted caramel bread pudding, Nirvana Grille’s goat cheese ice cream and Tivoli’s carrot cake. Around 10 local businesses and organizations also had booths on-site, including the Laguna Beach Police Department and Firebrand Media, the publisher of Laguna Beach Magazine. Ken Garcia, Anesha Rose and other musicians performed throughout the evening as guests sipped and savored. (lagunabeachchamber.org) —Katherine Duncan| Photos by Jody Tiongco
