Laguna Board of Realtors and Affiliates Charitable Assistance Fund Event at Taste For Charity
The Laguna Board of Realtors and Affiliates Charitable Assistance Fund held their annual A Taste for Charity benefit May 16 at Tivoli Too in the canyon. Now in its 18th year, the event drew more than 400 guests—Realtors, art fans, philanthropists and foodies—with more than 75 pieces of art donated from local artists such as Carl E. Smith, edible treats from a dozen Laguna restaurants including Las Brisas, Sundried Tomato Cafe and House of Big Fish & Ice Cold Beer, a painting demonstration and live music. Guests also participated in a live auction with auctioneer Zack Krone of CA Coastal Auctions, and an opportunity drawing. The charitable event raised approximately $90,000; this year’s beneficiaries were Laguna Beach Seniors, CSP Youth Project, Laguna Beach Resource Center, The Artist Fund, First Thursdays Art Walk, the Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach and No Square Theatre. —L.D.
