The Festival of Arts kicked off its 2013 season June 29 with a red carpet event themed Glitz and Glamour. Guests were advised to wear old Hollywood glamorous attire, and boas were handed out as the invite-only crowd streamed into the grounds. Many of the 140 juried artists were on hand to mingle with guests, and an Art-to-Go exhibit titled “Little Pictures with a Purpose” helped raise funds. The Del Mars played live to a crowded greens, as guests enjoyed food by Chef Molly Culinary Artistry. —M.M.
